Oakland Family Services is excited to announce the release of our 2020-21 annual report!

The annual report shares how, during the past fiscal year, Oakland Family Services has not only looked back on our first 100 years of service, but also ahead at the changing needs of our community and ways that we can continue transforming lives for the next 100 years.

The report highlights how our staff, donors and volunteers have continued to adapt to ensure the continuity of our prevention, education and treatment services as the coronavirus pandemic drags on. It includes financial information, recognition of our donors, special stories from the individuals and families we serve, as well as some of the year’s highlights, including:

  • In prevention, our Early Childhood Services worked with more than 690 families to enhance parenting skills, address developmental delays, strengthen family relationships and help children get the best possible start in life.

  • In education, more than 4,800 child care providers and other caregivers attended Early Learning Communities trainings to improve the quality of child care in Michigan, provide children with more experiences that foster learning and development, and help children enter school with the skills they need to be successful.

  • In treatment, the clinicians in our Day One and Specialized Services for Youth programs provided online mental health services to more than 2,200 members of our community, helping children, teens and adults to cope with depression, anxiety, substance use disorders and other mental health concerns.
